Jade Arellano, MSACN

Adhering to the functional medicine model, Jade takes a holistic approach to helping you heal. Specializing in inflammatory disease, she strives to empower you with the knowledge to achieve optimal health in both body and mind. Spending in-depth time with her clients to find the imbalances behind symptoms allows her to treat the whole patient, leading to lasting results. With treatment plans based in nutrition but well rounded with aspects of botanicals, supplements, physical movement, and mindfulness, Jade’s goal is to give you the tools and power to heal your body.

Jade went into private practice in order to provide clients with an approach to healing their bodies in a way that they may not otherwise find through conventional medicine. While our conventional medical system provides much needed emergency medical care, it falls short in offering preventative healthcare and full-body healing. Jade believes that functional medicine is the where the future of healthcare lies, and enjoys spending her time researching and educating herself about new and emerging treatments.

The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patient in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.

Jade earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences at the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition at New York Chiropractic College. She is the Founder and Herbalist at Prairie Bloom Botanicals, Co-Founder at Root Causes Clinic, and Co-Host on the Wellness Speaks Podcast. She has taught and practiced hot vinyasa yoga for the last decade, and continues to be involved in her local yoga and holistic health community. She lives in Norman, Oklahoma, with her husband, two children, two dogs, and a cat.
